With the growth of social media and mobile marketing there’s a common misconception that direct mail by post is in decline. The reality is that direct mail remains a critical part of the mix and outperforms all digital channels combined by nearly 600%!
Direct Mail doesn’t have the competition. Email is an effective tool, but we are overwhelmed and it’s hard to separate the junk from legitimate mail. This is true of consumers but even more relevant in businesses. Research by The Radicati Group as far back as 2014 found that business users sent or received 121 emails per day. They predicted that by 2018 this is expected to rise to 141 - and may even have done so already.

Customers don’t have to be Opt-in for direct mail. This means even if a customer does not subscribe or unsubscribe from your email list, you can still reach them with direct mail... and remember, direct mail doesn’t contain viruses!

It makes sense to find a balance between digital and direct mail to achieve the best results for your business. For more information see our blogs or call/email us for more information.
